Community Guidelines
LocalBhaiya.in only works if Customers and Workers can trust each other. These guidelines set out what we expect from everyone on the platform.
Last updated: 19 August 2026
1. Be honest
- Use your real name and a genuine photo on your profile.
- Describe work requests, skills, and experience accurately — don't exaggerate or misrepresent them.
- Quote a price you intend to honour, and only bid on jobs you're actually able to complete.
- Don't create multiple accounts or impersonate another person or business.
2. Be respectful
Treat every Customer and Worker with courtesy, whether you're chatting, bidding, or working together in person. We have zero tolerance for:
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind.
- Sexual harassment or unwanted advances, in messages or in person.
- Abusive or threatening language toward other users or our support team.
3. Play fair
- Don't try to move a job off-platform purely to avoid ratings or accountability, then fail to deliver.
- Don't leave misleading reviews, or offer/accept payment in exchange for a rating.
- Don't spam other users with unsolicited offers unrelated to their request.
- Cancel a request or bid as early as possible if you can no longer follow through.
4. Keep it safe and legal
- Don't post or request anything illegal, unlicensed where a licence is legally required, or unsafe.
- Anyone under 18 is not permitted to create an account or use the Platform.
- Don't share another person's private information without their consent.
- Follow reasonable safety practices — see our Safety page for tips.
5. Reporting & enforcement
If you see behaviour that breaks these guidelines, please report it or raise a grievance from the app. Depending on the severity and history involved, we may warn an account, restrict its access to certain features, or permanently suspend it. Serious violations may also be reported to the appropriate authorities.
These guidelines work alongside our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. If anything here conflicts with the Terms, the Terms govern.
