Terms & Conditions

Welcome to LocalBhaiya.in ("LocalBhaiya", "we", "us", or "our"), a free local marketplace that connects people who need work ("Customers") with independent local workers ("Workers"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and LocalBhaiya for your use of the website and any related services (together, the "Platform").

By creating an account, browsing, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

LocalBhaiya is a marketplace and connection platform. It is not a service provider, an employer, or a party to any agreement between Customers and Workers. We do not perform any service ourselves, and we do not employ or supervise any Worker.

• Customers post requirements and connect with Workers who respond.
• Workers create profiles, discover nearby requirements, and respond with their availability and offers.
• All pricing, service terms, and outcomes are agreed directly between Customers and Workers. LocalBhaiya is not involved in, and does not guarantee, the price, quality, availability, or outcome of any service.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Platform. By using the Platform, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

The Platform is intended for use in India and is governed by Indian law. If you access it from outside India, you do so at your own responsibility.

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and profile, and you must keep it up to date.
• You must keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You may not create multiple accounts to mislead others, or create an account on behalf of someone else without their consent.
• One person may maintain one account. Workers must use their real identity when creating a worker profile.

When using the Platform, you agree to act honestly, respectfully, and lawfully. In particular, you will not:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job requirements, offers, or profiles;
• Harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against any person;
• Use the Platform to conduct any illegal activity, including any form of fraud, extortion, or human trafficking;
• Engage in any behaviour involving child sexual abuse or exploitation, which is strictly prohibited — see our Child Safety Standards;
• Send spam, unsolicited advertising, or automated messages;
• Attempt to access another user's account, or scrape, copy, or commercially exploit Platform content without permission;
• Impersonate LocalBhaiya or any other person or organisation.

Joining and connecting through LocalBhaiya is free. We do not charge Customers or Workers to create an account, post a requirement, respond to a requirement, or communicate with each other.

Service prices are decided and agreed directly between Customers and Workers. Any payment for a service is made directly between those parties. LocalBhaiya does not collect, hold, or process service payments unless and until we introduce a payment feature, in which case we will update these Terms and inform users in advance.

If LocalBhaiya introduces paid features in the future, we will communicate the applicable fees before you incur them.

Where the rating and review feature is available, reviews must reflect your genuine experience with a completed service. You may not post fake, incentivised, or malicious reviews, or attempt to manipulate ratings for any user.

You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting content on the Platform, you grant LocalBhaiya a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and use that content solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Platform, and to comply with legal obligations.

You confirm that any content you post does not violate the rights of any third party, including intellectual property or privacy rights.

Workers on LocalBhaiya are independent professionals. LocalBhaiya does not verify the skills, qualifications, or background of any Worker, and does not guarantee the quality, price, availability, or outcome of any service arranged through the Platform.

We encourage you to review worker profiles, ratings, reviews, and any other available information, and to discuss the work, pricing, and expectations directly with the Worker before engaging them.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. LocalBhaiya does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocalBhaiya will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform or any interaction between Customers and Workers.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocalBhaiya's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the Platform will not exceed the amount you have paid to LocalBhaiya in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim — and since connecting on the Platform is free, in most cases this will be zero.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, engage in prohibited conduct, or if required by law. You may stop using the Platform at any time and may request deletion of your account by contacting us.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including sections on disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law, and dispute resolution — will continue to apply.

We take safety seriously. If you encounter content or behaviour that violates these Terms or the law, please report it using the in-app reporting feature or by writing to safety@localbhaiya.in. Reports involving child sexual abuse or exploitation are handled as described in our Child Safety Standards.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify registered users. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Patna, Bihar, India.

Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to first contact us in writing and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute amicably.
